We did it… RotorMaster have returned to 1/4 mile Drag Racing as undisputed CHAMPIONS winning the 2011 Fuchs Australian Nationals! On September 11, seven years ago - to the day, Team RotorMaster suffered a major blow crashing the Team’s Flagship RX7 drag car as Joe received the news his wife was in labour with his first child!!!! -

RotorMaster Takes the Win!

From that day in 2004 -  (with now 7 year old daughter Montanah) Joe & his RotorMaster Team have emerged with a new RX7 – sporting the nostalgic appearance of their original RX7 Winning the Super Compact bracket in the 2011  Fuchs Australian Nationals! Team RotorMaster have achieved their goal to debut this car on a winning streak – the win of a Gold ANDRA Christmas Tree for on its first official National Event. This win was the RX7′s THIRD full track pass since its completion.
Over the past few weeks, Signorelli has had the RX7 under a vigorous test regime, as newly appointed driver Jason Both familiarised himself with the grips of his new reigns!

RotorMaster Wins a GOLD Christmas Tree!

Running on C16, Joe & Jason were initially just working on launches and some solid 60 foot responses from the RX7, achieving Joe’s goal of a 1.03 to the 60 foot margin nice and early. The Fuchs Australian Nationals was now the designated event/ time to extend the RX7 and have it complete the entire 1/4 mile. The RX7 went 7.4 on its first full pass, then an 8.0 (on a back off to protect index time during racing) then collecting a win on its 3rd full pass in the finals with a massive drive job from Jason with a 7.1 @ 177 mph!!!

True Love? Jason Both - no doubt a happy man!

The Crew were estatic and somewhat emotional with the win given the 7 year history associated with a RotorMaster Flagship car return. Team RotorMaster wish to sincerely thank those who offered their support and congratulations over the weekend, it truly serves invaluable to those who work behind the scenes & for those who remain faithful to us as a team & the Sports Compact race arena.

A happy Crew! - Jason Both & Darren Mood Victorious!
